Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

This is a true tinted moisturizer that doesn’t cake in pores or settle in fine lines.

I’ve been trying out Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer for the past few weeks.

Like most people over 50, I have a problem with foundation settling in pores and looking cakey on lines. I can never use a regular foundation for just this reason, but tinted moisturizers seem to work a bit better.

The shade here is Opal 01: it smooths on weightlessly and blends in well using the Bare Minerals Smoothing Face Brush.

I’m no makeup wiz, I just smooth it on and add the rest of my makeup. In the photos above I didn’t use a primer or any powder on top except a little blush. I also wore it sans primer in each of these Sweater Weather images.

Unlike some tinted moisturizers it adds a sense of glow. I’m quite pleased with it so far.

In the images below I swatched it on my wrist and subsequently smoothed it out so you can see the texture.
